Erica Holck, Principal

My name is Erica Holck and I am the principal of Hurffville Elementary. I have previously served as an assistant principal of grades 2-8 in Lumberton Township School District and as an art teacher in Logan Township School District. With 15 years of experience in elementary school, I am ecstatic to continue my career at Hurffville.

My passion for administrative work began when Logan was awarded a school climate transformation grant by the NJ Department of Education. After seeing the power of a school transformation and leading many district initiatives, I saw the future potential for public education and earned a Master of Arts degree in educational leadership from Montclair State University. After graduating, I have committed myself to the improvement of public schools through designing student-centered, inclusive, effective, and data-driven systems that benefit all educators and students. Above all else, I chose to become an administrator to support students, teachers, and families. 

Outside of educational leadership, I enjoy painting, drawing, spoiling my pets (two sassy tuxedo cats and a greyhound), traveling to new places, going to concerts, playing basketball, watching scary movies, and being kind to others to spread positivity to those around me. It is so important to take care of one another!
